On the nose, it is rich in the scents of tropical and candied fruits with hints of toast and brioche. In the mouth, the wine displays both aromatic intensity and silkiness, combined with a delightful freshness due to its gentle acidity. The aromas of ripe fruits are very noticeable. Fruit base pear tarts, citrus fruit gratins, apricot charlotte cakes. But equally, floating island, crepes Suzette, creme Brulee, iced nougat, are perfect partners for this great Champagne.
Vintage 2012 displays a bright yellow color with refined gold hints. The nose is fresh and delicate, with hints of dried apricots. Enhanced with grilled, toasted notes, the nose evolves toward complex aromas of figs, dried fruits, honey, truffle, and mocha. On the other side, the wood brings soft spices of vanilla and nutmeg. On the palate, the wine delivers a fresh note. Then the aromas of fruits with candied citrus, and roasted pears appear, ending with refreshing notes of green hazelnuts and almonds. The structure, which is the signature of the vintage cuvee, is angular and complete, playing on the strong foundation of the Pinot Noir.
This wine has a subtle, pale gold color with fine, persistent bubbles. It is delicate, from the majority of Chardonnay, with apricot, white peach, eucalyptus on the nose and flavors of stone fruit, toasted brioche, bay leaf and white cherries on the palate. The crisp finish is highlighted with subtle notes of citrus and minerals for a refreshing mouthfeel.
