This Pinot Noir, a blend of our vineyard sources throughout Oregon, reflects the concentrated flavors and aromatics of the low grape yields experienced during the 2016 vintage. Deep red fruit, caramel and honeycomb aromatics are underscored by hints of candied violets and cinnamon stick. The palate is lively, with flavors of pomegranate, wild strawberry and Binng cherries rounding out to a long finish accented with notes of cocoa powder and cherry wood. This wine will not disappoint when paired with a wide assortment of foods, from grilled salmon to roast lamb. Enjoy immediately or age in bottle for at least another five years.
This 100% Pinot Noir Rose is made using the Saingee method of bleeding juice from our grapes as they are filling the fermentation tank. The fruit is sourced from all our Pinot Noir vineyard throughout Oregon state, a lovely complementary partner to the Primarius Pinot Noir. Pale salmon pink in color, aromatics of rose petals, ripe strawberries and blood orange introduce a lively and juicy entry with bright acidity enhancing flavors of nectarine, rainier cherry, and persimmon. The finish is long and balanced, with rich undertones of spiced stand-along beverage on a sunny day.
